BEIJING-- The high-performance, inexpensive expert system design launched just recently by Chinese startup DeepSeek has developed a wave of attention around the globe. DeepSeek-R1 appears to offer efficiency that rivals from the U.S., opensourcebridge.science but the company states it was developed at less than a tenth of the expense of those designs. Chinese innovation news portal 36Kr talked to the company's founder, Liang Wenfeng, dokuwiki.stream in July 2024.
